Why?

I’ve been watching the proliferation of gender identity ideology in schools and public policy in the past few years with horror. Given all the clinical knowledge about mental health and child development, I never had a shadow of a doubt that this is harming the most vulnerable groups of our society, the children and future generations first and foremost.

Now we have the Cass report that show the negligence, lack of medical evidence and breach of safeguarding these children in the light of the irreversible treatments to which they were exposed without question, under the label of affirmative care.

But we also have the leaked files from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), which provide overwhelming evidence that these clinicians knowingly ‘violate medical ethics and informed consent’ from children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults, or their caregivers.

Besides there is The Bad Law project, where the parents of some of these kids are suing the Department For Education for falling ‘to act to prevent serious harm to children in schools by way of indoctrination by activists in violation of the safeguards laid down in The Education Act 1996.’

Given that at the basis of gender confusion is a mental health issue known as gender dysphoria, the fact that a most extreme form of treatment, such as hormonal treatment and irreversible surgery, has become the first go to and any dissenting opinion has been shut down, is appalling.

Gender dysphoria is a rare condition, but now it turned into what the medical world calls an epidemic, spread by social contagion, trans activists and lobby with policymakers.

The whole trans gender theory has been based on the monstrosity of Dr. John Money, and his horrendous failed experiment on which he built his doctrines. Click the above link to understand the origins of it.

As Cass report has recently shown adopting an all affirmative care for those who declared themselves confused about their sex, has caused irreversible damage to many children.

As a professional in mental care services, and as a human being, it’s hard to be silent and pretend that this is a humane thing to do.

This issue has become somewhat personal for me, when I made the decision to hold back placing my child in a school. When vising schools I wanted to know what their approach to sex education and gender ideology is. The schools I visited told me things like: ‘We are not really allowed to have an opinion on this’. Some were taken aback by my question and acted somewhat defensive. At another school when I asked, ‘What if my child holds the belief that there are two sexes/genders based on biological facts?’, I was told that, ‘This is an opinion a child should keep at home’. And this last one was a church affiliated one. These are 4-5 years old kids we’re talking about.

Why is the practice that schools should affirm a child in whatever they claims to be harmful and dangerous? Here are some reasons to understand:

  1. Children absorb the moral standards of our environment at the very early stages of life – if you teach them that they are whatever and that is OK, they’ll go along with it.
  2. Young children lack the capacity to decipher, differentiate, analyze or assess the validity of what is being told, expected of, and modeled to them.
  3. They are trusting and naïve and they take it all in – without a reference point.
  4. The impact of moral standards on them is amplified by their lack of information and knowledge. And they are expected to obey what they are told.
  5. Early exposure to adult sex related issues is what most often leads to gender issues and sex orientation issues later in life. Ask any non-heterosexual person.
  6. The developing minds of children toggle between reality and imagination with ease. It’s a necessary part of their development. That does not mean that what they imagine or pretend to be during a period of time is to be affirmed as reality. Esp. regarding their sex.
  7. Ideas, and emotions, and mental states are contagious, especially for pre-teens and teens (9-18 y/o). For ex. if a girl who likes to play with cars and acts more like a tomboy, is planted the idea that she might actually be in the wrong body, and this idea is affirmed by teachers and adults, that will grow into a skewed perception of who she is. In the long run, essentially this can circumvent that child’s chance to having a normal life in line with their natural biology.

In my observation, from hearing and reading numerous testimonies, there are 3 main reason behind the trans trend in young people: 1. Early trauma and difficulty identifying with the parent of the same sex, 2. Early exposure to porn/sex material, 3. Bad role models in the media/social media/school/home, & peer influence.

Upheld by schools, child protections services and organizations such as WPATH, led by individuals with questionable reputations (i.e. affiliated with lobby to rename pedophiles to minor attracted persons (MAP) and make this deviation a widely acceptable idea), somehow the Western society and its leadership in all fields have become facilitators of child abuse, seeking to silence anyone who objects.

One of these has been James Esses, who in 2021 has been expelled from the institution where he was studying counseling and from his professional body for speaking up for the freedom of therapists and counselors to approach therapy with gender dysphoric children as exploratory rather than all-affirming. Ever since he’s been and advocate for sanity to prevail in this matter. Recently, along with over 130 signatories, he’s written a letter to PM Rishi Sunak asking for a public inquiry into how transgender ideology has infiltrated all spaces and is harming children.
